Turnarounds

Small Capital Construction
TIMEC’s Constructors Group provides capital construction services to a variety of industries such as oil refining; chemical, power, food processing; wine; rock, sand and gravel; and manufacturing. Our Constructors Group
specializes in providing the skilled resources necessary to perform piping, structural steel and equipment installations, and civil concrete construction. Substantial cost savings can be achieved when capital projects are performed in conjunction with supplemental maintenance and/ or turnarounds by sharing overhead, equipment and personnel resources. Our number one goal is to provide a safe environment for our employees and the safest project for our customers.
Training Services and Programs
TIMEC (Welltech National Training Systems, Inc.) is a nationally-accredited training and assessment sponsor of the NCCER and NCACP. The company’s educators work in tandem with client personnel to train and certify professionals over 30 trade disciplines. As a result, TIMEC employees and its clients receive the most advanced technical training in the business to get the job done right the first time around. TIMEC’s outsourced training programs provide an effective and economical alternative to its client’s training needs.
Safety Support Services
TIMEC (Welltech Safety) provides a full range of professional safety services and safety personnel. In providing dedicated hole-watch/fire-watch services to its clients, TIMEC has dramatically improved the quality and performance of this critical position. In addition, these personnel perform multiple tasks and significantly reduce cost for clients, as well as NPRA and PACE.
Specialty Welding
TIMEC’s (World-Wide Welding, Inc.) welding specialists are skilled in approximately 300 ASME Code Standard procedures and materials. TIMEC is committed to providing a safe and injury free workplace for our personnel. In return, they have completed calendar year 2006 without a recordable accident. Our specialty welders are tested in a 6G restricted position that enables them to weld in all positions and enables us to assess their ability to weld in “tight” spaces, such as the return bends in convection boxes and the pigtails in reformer header boxes. TIMEC’s specialty welders consistently meet the clients’ needs on highly technical welding projects where timing and quality are critical.
Catalyst Handling
TIMEC (James-TIMEC International, Inc.) has been providing
catalyst services to many of the same clients for over 25 years, and
is keenly aware of the safety and environmental issues unique to
this business. Accordingly, TIMEC has developed work processes
and training facilities that assure personnel consistently execute
this work safely and with a high level of productivity. TIMEC’s large
inventory of specialized catalyst equipment allows it to respond
quickly and to perform all types and sizes of catalyst projects.
Instrumentation & Electrical
TIMEC provides instrumentation and electrical (I&E) services as part of its maintenance, small capital construction and turnaround services. When I&E services are provided in conjunction with supplemental maintenance and/or turnarounds, TIMEC’s clients receive the benefit of both substantial cost savings as well as extraordinary safety performance. In addition, these same services are offered on stand-alone small projects (<$500K) for both industrial and institutional clients.
