TIMEC’s one-year anniversary without a recordable injury at the ConocoPhillips Ponca City, OK refinery

La Porte, Texas  –  Tuesday, 11 December 2007

Today marked TIMEC’s one-year anniversary without a recordable injury at the ConocoPhillips Ponca City, OK refinery, following 332,000 man-hours of work.

TIMEC and its affiliates perform routine maintenance, turnaround and capital work at the facility since mobilization in 2005.

The TIMEC management team recognizes that the safety culture at the site is very strong and is reinforced daily, not only by the management staff, but also by the core group of daily maintenance craft on site.

“While these milestones are important to acknowledge and celebrate, let’s all focus on the daily actions that contributed to reaching them,” said Lou Hall, TIMEC's Vice President of Operations for the Gulf Coast and Midwest Regions. “I would like to congratulate Site Manager Chad Cink and his management team at the ConocoPhillips Ponca City Refinery and all of the people who have performed work there.”
