TIMEC's 2009 milestones
La Porte, Texas – Wednesday, 23 December 2009TIMEC’s commitment to zero recordables while providing maintenance and turnaround services to its clients across the US is noticeable in its performance, following over five million man-hours of work performed by the end of 2009.
TIMEC’s outstanding OSHA logs have contributed to long-standing relationships with its clients as it achieves remarkable milestones through the years. TIMEC’s policies and procedures ensure employees work in a safe environment, which results in no recordable injuries. Among the TIMEC sites recognized for achieving safety milestones this year are:
ConocoPhillips (COP) Santa Maria, CA achieved 8 years of recordable free routine maintenance work. The team is headed by Mike Truppa.
The TIMEC group at the Chevron Salt Lake City, UT facility led by Jim Price reached 6 years of daily maintenance with no recordables.
Shell Lubricant in Wilmington, CA also achieved 6 years of recordable-free work with the TIMEC team headed by Scott Moffat.
The team led by Steve Wills reached 5 years and 430,000 man-hours of recordable free services at COP Ferndale, WA.
Scott Moffat and Carlos Garcia’s team at the Valero Wilmington, CA site celebrated 5 years of incident-free work.
The group led by Joe Garcia and Ernie Florence at the ExxonMobil Torrance, CA facility achieved 3 years without an OSHA recordable.
The Chevron Pascagoula, MS site celebrated 3 years of recordable free services. The team is under the leadership of Deneen DuCharme.
Shell PSRC in Ferndale, WA reached 2 years and 420,000 man-hours of recordable free work headed by Daryl Clark.
Geno Kish’s team at the Shell Martinez, CA refinery celebrated 2 years without a recordable injury, following 450,000 man-hours of routine maintenance, turnaround and capital work.
Mark Carlson’s group at Shell Deer Park, TX achieved 1 year of recordable-free support.
Dow Chemical Pittsburg, CA celebrated 1 year with no recordables, with its team led by Mark Brett.
Chevron El Segundo, CA with its team headed by Ed Aufderheide, Billy Graham and Harold Arrindell achieved 1 year and 350,000 man-hours of recordable free work.
Herb Zilucca’s team at the COP Los Angeles, CA refinery also celebrated 1 year of recordable free work.
Dow Chemical Torrance, CA with its group headed by Tom Giddings and Kim Gardner achieved 1 year of recordable free services at the facility.
