TIMEC renews agreement with ConocoPhillips
La Porte, Texas – Tuesday, 29 December 2009TIMEC announced today the renewal of its long-term agreement with energy producer ConocoPhillips (COP) for services at the Los Angeles facility for the next three years. ConocoPhillips is one of TIMEC’s top three clients.
TIMEC has provided COP with routine maintenance, turnaround, specialty catalyst handling, specialty welding, safety support services and capital construction work since 1971 across its oil refineries in Wilmington, Carson, Santa Maria and Rodeo in California as well as Ferndale in Washington.
The contract renewal reflects TIMEC’s ability to maintain long-term relationships by providing services safely and efficiently to its clients, extending its relationship with COP beyond 40 years.
In 2009, TIMEC achieved zero recordable injuries at COP’s Wilmington, Carson, Santa Maria and Ferndale sites.
TIMEC is recognized as an industry leader in safety and was awarded 31 National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA) Meritorious Safety Awards in May 2009 for its 2008 record.
